It is all beautifully simple
Rustic comfort
Amarun Guest House has four bedrooms, joined together in the middle by a shared ceremony / relaxation space. Each room sleeps 1-4 people under mosquito nets, has its own entrance and bathroom and a small private balcony. In addition, there are two cabanas: Cabana Lokata has one bedroom and bathroom, and sleeps up to 3 people; Cabana Morete has two bedrooms and one bathroom and sleeps up to 4 adults with room for more if you are a family. The running water in the showers comes from a ground well source: cold in the mornings and nights, and hot in the day as heated by the sun. It’s beautifully simple.
Organic and biodynamic
Breakfast is served in an open sided dining room where we all eat together, seated on high back tree trunk chairs at long wooden tables. There is a sprinkling of international cuisine in the flavours but almost all of the food is organic, biodynamic, or locally sourced. There are lots of little details that might go unnoticed: the cables are hidden inside bamboo and you hang your coat on tree branches rather than hooks.
